Disclaimer

Neureson is a document drafting platform. It is not a law firm, professional services firm, financial adviser or regulatory body. Nothing produced by Neureson constitutes professional, legal, financial or regulatory advice of any kind.

1. Nature of the Service

1.1 Neureson is a software platform that uses artificial intelligence to assist users in drafting, editing and managing business documents. The Service is designed for administrative and reference purposes only.

1.2 Brain PR, trading as Neureson, is not a law firm, barrister, solicitor, legal practitioner, financial adviser, accountant, tax adviser or any other form of professional services provider regulated under Australian law or the law of any other jurisdiction.

1.3 No employee, contractor, officer or representative of Brain PR is acting in a professional capacity in the provision of the Service. No professional relationship — including attorney-client, adviser-client or fiduciary relationship — is created by your use of the Service.

1A. Confidentiality by Design

1A.1 Neureson is built on a standard called Confidentiality by Design. This means your documents are private always — processed in a private, encrypted environment and never accessible to other users or Neureson staff. Your data is never sold or shared with any third party for any commercial purpose. You may delete your data at any time by contacting legal@neureson.ai or by deleting your account within the platform.

1A.2 Neureson is compliant with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EU and UK users, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for California users and applicable APAC privacy frameworks. Your data is never used to train AI models — by Neureson or any provider we work with. This commitment is contractually enforced at every level of the platform.

2. Documents Are Not Professional Advice

2.1 All documents, drafts, templates, outputs and content produced by the Neureson Service (“Documents”) are provided for drafting and reference purposes only. Documents are not professional advice and must not be relied upon as such.

2.2 Documents produced by Neureson may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies or provisions that are unsuitable for your specific circumstances, jurisdiction or transaction. Neureson makes no warranty that any Document is legally valid, enforceable, complete or fit for any particular purpose.

2.3 The AI Technology powering Neureson does not have access to real-time legal, regulatory or market information. Documents produced by Neureson should not be treated as a current or definitive statement of law, regulation or commercial practice in any jurisdiction.

2A. Credits and Fractional Credits

2A.1 Certain features within the Neureson platform — including but not limited to document revision, compliance review and reminder extraction — consume fractional or partial Credits. The Credit cost of each feature varies and is clearly disclosed within the platform prior to use. A confirmation is always displayed before any Credits are consumed, showing the cost of the specific action and your current Credit balance. No Credits are deducted without your active confirmation.

2A.2 Current Credit rates for all features are displayed within your account at the point of use. Rates may be updated from time to time with a minimum of 14 days notice to active Subscribers. Full details of the Credit system and consumption order are set out in the Neureson Terms of Service.

3. Professional Review Strongly Recommended

3.1 Neureson strongly recommends that any Document intended for formal execution, binding agreement, legal proceedings, regulatory submission or high-value commercial transaction be reviewed and approved by a qualified professional before use.

3.2 The appropriate professional will depend on the nature and purpose of the Document. This may include a qualified lawyer, solicitor, barrister, accountant, financial adviser or other regulated professional depending on your specific circumstances and jurisdiction.

Neureson is a tool to help you draft — not a substitute for professional judgment. Using Neureson alongside qualified professional advice gives you the best of both: speed and intelligence from Neureson, expertise and accountability from your adviser.

4. Limitation of Liability

4.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brain PR expressly disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, cost, expense, claim or proceeding of any kind arising from your use of, reliance upon or distribution of any Document produced by the Service.

4.2 This disclaimer is without prejudice to the limitation of liability provisions in the Neureson Terms of Service, which apply in addition to this Disclaimer.

4.3 Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Jurisdiction

5.1 This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted this Disclaimer in its entirety.

Refund Policy

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. Your statutory rights are not affected by this Policy.

1. General Principle

1.1 Neureson is committed to fair and transparent pricing. All fees are clearly disclosed before purchase. By completing a purchase you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Refund Policy.

1.2 All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of 10% GST. Receipts and invoices are generated natively within the Neureson platform and issued automatically by email following each transaction.

2. Free Trial

2.1 A 3-day free trial is available to new Users with no credit card required. No charge is made during the free trial period. The free trial includes one document credit.

2.2 No refund is applicable to the free trial as no charge is made.

3. Subscription Fees

3.1 Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance and are non-refundable except as required by the Australian Consumer Law or as expressly provided in this Policy.

3.2 If you cancel your Subscription, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the Service and your monthly Credits until the end of that period. No partial refund will be issued for any unused portion of the current billing period.

3.2A Annual Subscriptions. Annual Subscription fees represent a minimum 12-month commitment and are non-refundable under any circumstances except as required by the Australian Consumer Law. No refund or credit will be issued for any unused portion of an annual term. Annual Subscribers who cancel mid-term retain access to the Service until the end of the 12-month commitment period.

3.3 Neureson will issue a full refund of the most recent monthly Subscription payment if:

  • You contact Neureson within 7 days of a Subscription renewal and have not used any Credits in the new billing period; or
  • The Service has experienced a verified outage of more than 24 consecutive hours during the billing period for which you are seeking a refund; or
  • You are entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law.

3.4 Refunds under clause 3.3 will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.

3A. Fractional Credits

3A.1 Fractional Credits consumed through platform features — including but not limited to document revision, compliance review and reminder extraction — are non-refundable once consumed. The Credit cost of each action is displayed and requires your active confirmation before any Credits are deducted. No refund will be issued for fractional Credits consumed following your confirmation.

3A.2 If a platform feature fails to complete due to a technical error on Neureson, any fractional Credits consumed during that failed run will be restored to your account within 2 business days. Please contact legal@neureson.ai if you believe Credits have been incorrectly deducted.

4. Top-Up Credit Packs

4.1 Top-Up Credit Packs are non-refundable after purchase. Credits are applied to your account immediately upon purchase and are available for use from that point.

4.2 Top-Up Credits expire 90 days from the date of purchase regardless of pack size. Expired Credits are forfeited without refund. Neureson will send an email reminder 14 days before your Top-Up Credits expire.

4.3 Neureson will issue a full refund of a Top-Up Credit Pack if:

  • You contact Neureson within 48 hours of purchase and no Credits from the pack have been used; or
  • You are entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Australian Consumer Law

5.1 Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or remedy if the Service:

  • Is not fit for the purpose you made known to Neureson before purchase
  • Does not match the description provided by Neureson
  • Has a major failure that cannot be remedied within a reasonable time

5.2 Where you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, Neureson will offer, at its election: a refund, a credit to your account, or resupply of the Service.

5.3 For minor failures that can be remedied, Neureson will fix the issue within a reasonable time. If Neureson cannot fix the issue within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a refund.
